I have always been an avid collector of old china, anything from Victorian wash bowls and jugs, to pretty Victorian cream jugs and cups and saucers, also anything quirky and unusual from the 50's and 60's.
I use these objects to create beautiful floral arrangements that have a lasting memorable and usable function long after the original giving of the gift.
I try to source specialist and collectable chinaware or glass to combine with floral arrangements to create a unique balance of tradition and modern genres.
Gardening with flowers, vegetables and herbs follows a close second to me and as spring and summer arrives you will find me pottering around planting seeds, tending plants, harvesting and just looking at the beauty of growing.
My new enterprise in combining all my favorite passions has seemed to fall naturally in to place. What could be nicer than being able to buy all the odd cups and saucers, bowls and jugs everytime something catches my eye? And then be able to spend time creating traditional and modern arrangements with flowers.
